The bike shop my brother and I started in Highland Park has come together quite nicely: big T.V., nice paint job, great work-shop, located next to a Gold Line train stop and Antigua Bread.
We’ve sold a few bikes, and things are looking up. Then I get an email from my brother, “Dude, we’re going to be on Daily Candy.” I turned about as red as one of our PB-13 ladies bicycle frames. Shucks.
They didn’t spare the praise in the article:
Legend tells of a legendary bicycle whose awesomeness is the stuff of legend. Its name: Flying Pigeon LA.
You can read the rest of the article “Kung Fu Pigeon” online at Daily Candy.

Awesome Exposure!!!! Congratulations!!!!!
It just so happens that I live on 57 and I first read about your opening from a Highland Park blog last week. Just now I just received an email from Daily Candy today featuring your shop! Very exciting! I will have to visit and see the famous Flying Pigeons! Congrats and good luck!!
I can’t believe that the Flying Pigeon has landed in LA! I lived in Tianjin, China for 7 months and I loved my Flying Pigeon. We even considered trying to ship it back to LA. Congrats on your new store and I would love to hear more about the Dim Sum rides.
Cheers-Miki
