Flying Pigeon Auctioned for Chinatown Nonprofit

The Chinatown Service Center,  the largest community-based health and human service organization in Southern California, recently held their 37th Annual Fundraising Banquet and Silent Auction at Empress Pavilion in Chinatown on Friday, September 26, 2008.

Flying Pigeon LA donated one of our PA-02 model bicycles to the fundraising effort, after having been contacted by one of the CSC’s sharp-witted employees (she read about us via a Daily Candy article).

We weren’t able to attend the banquet, but we were proud to help this important community institution. Missing good food at Empress Pavilion is a bitter pill to swallow!
