We just got some of the world’s best bicycle tyres in stock – and they fit Flying Pigeon wheels perfectly.
The tyres I’m talking about are the Schwalbe Marathon and the Schwalbe Delta Cruiser, which are now available via our online shop.
Along with their superior construction, durability, integrated reflective sidewalls, and just plain good looks these tyres also come in the perfect size to fit Flying Pigeon bicycle rims (as well as the rims of older pre-WWII bicycles). These tyres are made to fit 28″ x 1-1/2″ rims, which is also known as “40-635” (using the ERTRO system).

The Marathon tyres are especially durable, so I’d pick these up if you’re going to put some serious miles on your Flying Pigeon.

The Delta Cruiser tyres are solid, but not as heavy-duty as the Marathons. These tyres, however, come in both black and cream. We’re kind of into the cream colored tyres on our Flying Pigeon bicycles now.

Those are nice-riding tires. I have them on my 1974 Peugeot fixed-gear, and I love both the ride and the look of them.
