Though it’s mostly just blank white walls and Flying Pigeon bicycles right now, our new shop, located at 3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065 is set to have a “soft opening” party this coming Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The party is going to be fun. We’re coordinating with the the Bike Oven, so some playful mayhem is bound to ensue. We’re going to raffle off some bike stuff (lights, locks) and a mens’ Flying Pigeon bicycle. We’re also going to have some Flying Pigeon bike races. A BBQ will be going most of the day and we’ve already got a keg of Hefeweizen picked out.
All we’re missing, really, is people – which is where all of you (our friends, family, fans, haters, and lookie-loos) come in to the picture!
The image above was shot on the sunny afternoon our friends Brantlea and Alastair came to visit. Brantlea is a photographer and Alastair is a designer – so we got this awesome photo and a shop layout out of their visit! You can see more of Brantlea’s photos online in her Flickr profile.
Alastair’s work will be visible in a few weeks once we’ve contracted out the work to lay out our shop.
Pretty sweet deal all around.
