We’ve gotten a LOT of phone calls, since shuttering our doors at 3404 N. Figueroa St. in January of 2009, asking about where the new home for Flying Pigeon LA was going to be!
Well, we’ve moved down the street 20 blocks closer to downtown and one door away from our neighborhood’s bicycle repair cooperative, the Bike Oven.
Our store-front isn’t open for business yet, but when we get going again (in early April) this is what our new address is:
3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065
Our online shop is still going strong in the meantime, and we’re always available (by appointment) to show our famous Flying Pigeons, or make any repairs or perform service your Flying Pigeon may need.
We’ve also got a multi-speed Flying Pigeon on the way, our own line of pannier bags, clothes by Bicycle Fixation, accessories, and a fixed-gear version of our bikes as well!

Good luck with the new shop. My local bike shop here in Fort Worth just re-opened in a bigger shop and they are doing very well. If I get a chance to get out to L.A., I’ll definitely stop by. (I lived on Sawtelle near Venice in the 80s, so I know the area somewhat.)
