Batavus Bikes On The Way

We just got off the phone with Batavus’ North American distributor, and several beautiful Dutch bicycles on making their way to the Flying Pigeon LA shop. The bikes should be arriving sometime this Wednesday or Thursday.

Prices range from $750 to $870 (tax included!), with free local delivery in metropolitan Los Angeles.

If you’re looking for a bike as beautiful as a Flying Pigeon, but of a better finish (or with gears!), then the Batavus “Old Dutch” or the “1-2 Have” are right up your alley.

We’re getting a few different colors of “Old Dutch”, step-through frame, single speed bikes: glossy black, matte silver, and orange. The rest of the bikes are available in glossy black, and must be seen to be believed – yes, you can ride these in a suit (or a skirt) and maintain a decidedly un-bikey appearance, while rocking one of the finest production bicycles on the planet.

If you’d like to book one of these bikes in advance, give us a call at 213-909-8986 (we’ve already pre-sold one of them!).

    Hi,
The bicycle in the picture is not a Batavus. It is a Pashley.

    Loring,

Thank you for the correction! Belmont Distribution carries Pashleys, and it look like that is where your email address is from. I we here at Flying Pigeon LA would like to carry a few Pashleys, but I don’t know if we’ve ever emailed you about getting a catalogue of what you carry.

Any chance you we can send you our paperwork and you can email us a pdf catalogue and we can get started bringing a good chunk of Pashley bicycles to Los Angeles together?
