This lilac dutch-made bike arrived at Flying Pigeon LA earlier this week.
Since hooking up with 4th Floor Distribution, the North American distributors for Batavus dutch bikes, we’ve had some moderate success selling these finely made, very cute, bicycles.
The Lilac Butterfly pictured above is a smaller version of the Old Dutch bicycles we’ve been carrying, and is priced at $650. Right now, it is the only dutch bicycle we have that is appropriate for riders who are under 5’6″. It is also the only Batavus Butterfly in Los Angeles (I believe)!
The Batavus Butterfly, like the Old Dutch, is available in loads of color options. The bike above is a single speed with a coaster brake (the kind you pedal backwards to engage). If you’re interested in taking a real dutch bike for a ride ’round the block, stop by the Flying Pigeon LA shop!
