The North American distributor for Batavus bicycles, Fourth Floor Distribution, has started a blog, Bespoke, and I was one of their first interviewees!

Big props to Fourth Floor for working hard to help educate a new customer base that is shunned by most North American retailers – transportation cyclists.

The interview “Dim Sum, Flying Pigeons, and going Dutch in LA” went live on July 8, 2009 (but I’m a bit lazy when it comes to posting blog entries like this).

A quick side note, the latest Bespoke interview is with Victor Cuevas Jr., owner of Rain City Bikes, and the guy I purchased my VanAndel/Workcycles bakfiets off of in 2007. That bike is going strong, and I’m happy to see that Victor’s business is growing.
