The Anti-Mall 2009 is taking place outside Antigua Coffee in Cypress Park.
A few blocks away, our friend Yancy is hosting a block party and mini-music festival in front of his coffee shop, Antigua Coffee, located at 3400 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065. The festival is taking place today, Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 12pm until it gets dark and cold (around 6pm is my guess).
It is free to get “in” (heck, it’s just right there in the street!), and there are bands playing, toys being given away, and neat and interesting things for sale.
I’m going to head down there right no to check it out (and get a sangwich!), take some pictures, and buy some goodies for mi ruca y mi hija.
