This Saturday, April 10, 2010 the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop and the Bike Oven are co-hosting another Spoke(n) Art Ride gallery tour and art opening.

About the show:
This month’s show features the work of illustrator Tim Cochran (and friends). Tim’s work mixes pop art, comic books, collage, punk rock and a little bit of politics-through-juxtaposition together into highly accessible pieces.

The show will debut on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 9 p.m. at the Bike Oven (3706 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065) and Flying Pigeon LA bike shop (3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065). The show will run for a month at both locations (we’re just two doors away from one another). Opening night will feature the usual bacchanalia as well as some special highlights cooked up by both Tim Cochran and the Bike Oven’s Veronica Jaregui.

About the ride:
Meet at the Bike Oven/Flying Pigeon bike industrial complex at 6:30 p.m. We ride at 7 p.m. to four to six galleries open for NELA Art’s Second Saturday, returning to the starting point for an after party around 10 p.m.

Getting to Flying Pigeon LA and the Bike Oven by Metro – we’re served by the 81 and 83 lines and are just blocks away from the Heritage Square Gold Line Station.

By car, 110 Freeway, exit Avenue 43, left on Figueroa St., park at Avenue 37 and N. Figueroa St.

The Flying Pigeon LA bike shop is located at 3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065.

The Bike Oven is located at 3706 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065.
