Streetsblog LA’s NELA Fundraiser this past June 18, 2010 was a fun one. We were all able to raise a couple of hundred dollars to keep the best livable streets news source in Southern California running.
The ride was a rather pleasant one, and the after party back at the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop was well attended and well refreshed with a pony-keg of Eagle Rock Brewery’s Solidarity Ale (an English Ale with a low alcohol content – a great post-ride drink!).
We, of course, transported the keg from the brewery to the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop via a bakfiets cargo bike, in honor of a similar effort documented online on the Copenhagenize blog post “Have Beer Keg, Will Pedal”
