Do Want! Of course I want almost every bike available at your shop but 200$ for a great, elegant everyday bike?! This is torture, that I have the money to buy it but know that I shouldn’t…

Josef, I didn’t realize you were still selling the original Flying Pigeons.

Have you guys checked these bike out in any way? I remember that in the past you used to charge quite a bit more, due to the adjustments and upgrades you made on the Pigeons before selling them locally.

Are these just original equipment in the box, straight off the boat from China? I imagine many bike shops might not know how to deal with some of the components (eg rod brakes, chaincase)

The bikes we’re selling at this price have not been touched by us in any way. They are bikes-in-boxes, straight from Tianjin, direct to your local bike shop, in need of professional mechanic time to build them.

We build stock Flying Pigeons for $200 more, or $400 total, in the shop. Our Deluxe line of bikes starts at $500 (these have every component swapped out, choice of single or multi-speed hubs, etc.).

Bought one, put it together, had a blast doing so…immediately purchased another one! These are great bikes. The rod brakes, etc., are not difficult at all to deal with. I should add that the bikes do not come with directions, just look at a photo of a Flying Pigeon and go from there.

Do your flying pigeon bikes come with the rear stand?

The bikes we sell come with a rear center stand. All of the specifications and accessories are listed in our shop:

Why won’t you just allow a customer to buy one directly? I don’t want to have it shipped to a mechanic. I have the skill to do it. Its not a 8,000.00 carbon race bike.
