Time to Make It Real!

The City of Los Angeles just announced the next Bike Plan Implementation Team meeting, which will be discussing, according to their notice, “bike lane concepts on 7th Street between Catalina St and Main St, as well as an implementation flowchart and some Bicycle Plan programs.”

What happens here is determined by the “team,” and as it happens, the team is whoever shows up.

So, are you ready to determine the future of bicycling in Los Angeles? If you are, then show up!

Here are the details:

Date: March 1, 2011
Location:
City Hall, Room 721
200 N. Spring Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012
Time: 2:00 PM

Can’t make it downtown? You can still participate! There will be webinar access to this (and presumably future) meetings. Go to https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/128622910 to register for the webinar and view instructions.

Basically, you will be able to hear the meeting via conference call, and contribute via a live chat hookup.

Democracy in action, baby! Let’s make LA a bicycling town! You and me, huh?
