Flying Pigeon LA spares a few tubes for Los Angeles Critical Mass

IMAG0525

Los Angeles’ Critical Mass takes place on the last Friday of the month. What started as a small gathering of dreamers, activists, and lovers of everything bike has turned into a huge Friday night spectacle with its own police escort and hundreds, if not thousands, of riders of all skill levels and on all sorts of bikes.

This month we’re testing the waters with the unofficial support crew by donating $50 in inner tubes. As the summer progresses, we hope to expand our support and get a small bunch of mechanics equipped with tools, tubes, and small parts to help keep ridazz riding.

Want to join Los Angeles Critical Mass? There are always feeder rides from different parts of town, but the main event kicks off at the corner of Wilshire and Western in mid-city at 6:30 p.m. (at the Purple Line Station, on the NE Corner of Western Avenue and Wilshire Blvd.). The ride departs at 7:30 p.m.

There is a Los Angeles Critical Mass community on Facebook as well as a (more popular) Los Angeles Critical Mass Group on Facebook you might want to check out. There is also a Los Angeles Critical Mass Twitter feed (Los AngelesCM)!
