California Bicycle Summit 2011 coming to LA November 5 to 7

Good news! Following on the heels of the “ThinkBike LA” Dutch bike-expert invasion that took place in September, LA is, once again, going to be up to it’s eyeballs in the best and the brightest bike planners with the California Bicycle Summit next weekend – from November 7 to 9, 2011

We’re renting bikes to CA Bike Summit attendees for $30 for the entire week/weekend.

I know for a fact I am going to attend the opening night reception on November 5 at 8 p.m. at Angel City Brewery. Maybe we can have our own strategy meeting that night about the beer-bike connection?

There are going to be some interesting seminars taking place. One I’d like to attend (but will be working all day instead) is on Sunday, November 8, 2011 dedicated to “Our Strategy for Transforming the Golden State”. The California Bike Coalition asks the question: “What do we need to do to get a million more people on bicycles in California?” As long as the critical beer-bike connection is maintained, I am sure it will be a productive day.

See you soon CA bike planners!
