Get Some Philippe’s Sandwich Ride – November 30

Work off your Thanksgiving meal and come ride with the Flying Pigeon crew this Sunday as we roll down to the historic, and always thriving, Philippe’s Diner in Chinatown.

For those of you that haven’t ever been, it is a Los Angeles restaurant sure to delight.  From the old school jars of pickled eggs, to the sawdust on the floor Philippe’s even has a room in the back where the local model train club meets. Check out their webpage for some cool photo’s and stories.  https://www.philippes.com/

We’ll be meeting at our shop located at 3404 North Figueroa, Los Angeles, CA 90042 at 10AM, leaving at 10:30 for a leisurely ride to Philippe’s.  Once there we’ll wait in line for our double dipped, lamb sandwiches, 9 cent coffee and fresh apple pie.  Those of us on a diet will probably just cut straight to the pie!  Bring about 10 -15 dollars per person to cover your lunch and $1.25 for the train ride back if you enjoy a little too much pie and prefer to see the uphill ride from a Metro train’s seats.

As always, we have demonstration bikes to loan (for free) and would love to have you and your positive energy along for a great time. Buy your bike from us and we’ll buy your lunch!

If you are planning on coming, please either leave a quick comment here or call us up on the shop phone at 213-909-8986.
