Join us on a brutal 44 foot elevation gain, 3.0 mile, 12 mile per hour, hollentour from the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop to the GOOD CicLAvia fundraiser ($20 entry, 3229 Casitas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90039)
Meet at the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop (located at 3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065) at 3pm. We will ride at 3:30pm.
The last ride was a tough one, so pack some Waybread, a flare gun, foil blankets, and a change of spandex underpants – we’re going to ride our bikes to get some great beer (New Belgium Beer on tap) and support LA’s CicLAvia.
A bit of cash to pay the $20 entry fee and to buy food would also be a good idea. Okay, we found out that you need to buy $20 tickets in advance, otherwise it’s $50 at the door; so we went online and bought 10 14 $20 tickets. We’re selling these tickets for $20 (to recoup the cost of buying them!) for those that want to join the ride.

That is unbelievably awesome. You could at least sell them for $30. Aren’t you trying to turn a profit here? 😉
I want to go, but the whole bike to Blue Line to Red Line to Gold Line to bike thing may be a bit much for our preschooler+baby+mom combo. Too bad the regional connector isn’t done. A single train from DTLB to NELA would make this trip a snap, even with the bike trailer.
