The Wolfpack Hustle LA Marathon Crash Race is a free bicycle race that follows the closed 26.1 mile LA Marathon course hours before the runners. It is unlike other amateur city bicycle races because there is almost no traffic. This race does not determine who can best find their way through a city, but rather, who can bomb to Santa Monica the fastest. Lots of people raced, even more, like me, just did it for fun.
Results according to Wolfpack Hustle’s twitter, “JTR Geared . . . and Craig AZ Men’s fixed. AZ swept 1, 2, and 3 in fixed division.” The women’s results are still under review.

if you rode the entire marathon course, it was 26.2 miles, not 26.1… i should know because i ran it 🙂 and you all were lucky that it wasn’t pouring at the finish line like it was when i came wading in!!
