“Wheely Good Future” in NELA Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 4, 2011

Wanna be in a parade this Sunday?

I’ve gone and done something stupid: I signed up the Bike Oven for the 67th NELA Holiday Parade taking place on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 1 p.m.

It was in 2006, just one year after opening, when the Bike Oven was first asked to join in the NELA Holiday Parade. That year, we were given a banner from the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council (for reasons I cannot recall).

The name of our entry this year is “Figueroa For All – A Wheely Good Future”. If you would like to be in the parade with the Bike Oven, come dressed in some festive gear and meet us at the Bike Oven at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011. We’ll be gearing up, decorating our rides, and then riding to the start point up around Avenue 60 in Highland Park.

I created a general event page for the 67th NELA Holiday Parade on Facebook. If you want to be a part of the bike parade – join us at the Bike Oven, located at 3706 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065, at 11:30 a.m.!

Planning for this event will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at around 8 p.m. at the Bike Oven.
