Delicious puffy, crunchy, chewy, savory meat balls - dim sum at it's finest.

Flying Pigeon LA is hosting the Get Sum Dim Sum Ride again this Sunday, November 2, 2008. This week, we’re heading out to the 626 area code to get some dim sum at King Hua in Alhambra.

Meet us on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 10 a.m. (ride leaves at 10:30 a.m.) at 3404 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90042. We roll at 10:30 a.m.

[UPDATE 11/01/2008: Ride cancelled due to rain! As the poet once said, “Il pluere dans mon coeur comme il pluet sur la ville…”]

Interested in taking a Flying Pigeon for a test ride? This is your chance!

We offer Flying Pigeon test rides on the Get Sum Dim Sum Ride (free of charge!). Flying Pigeon’s are classic, dutch-style, city bikes made for cruising around town.

If you would like to take a famous Flying Pigeon for a test ride leave us a note in the comments section below or contact us by calling 213-909-8986. If you decide to buy a bike, the dim sum breakfast is on us!*

Other Important Stuff:

  • Due to overwhelming demand, we have been forced to limit test ride reservations to you and one guest.
  • Make sure to bring some cash to pay for the dim sum ($15 ought to do it) and look forward to some good food and a fun bike ride.
  • Vegans and vegetarians beware! Dim sum is practically ALL MEAT, ALL THE TIME. There are a few vegetable dishes (i.e. two or three dishes) but the wait-staff will be annoyed (or confused) with us for asking them if everything they’re serving is vegetarian or not.

*We’ll deduct the cost of the meal from the sale price of your bike.
