Spoke(n) Art Ride on Saturday, December 11, 2010

This Saturday, December 11, 2010 the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop and the Bike Oven will co-host the Spoke(n) Art Ride. The Spoke(n) Art Ride is a once-a-month tour of art galleries, backyards, graffiti yards, home studios, and museums open as part of NELAart’s Second Saturday event.

Meet us at the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop and Bike Oven at 6pm. The ride will leave at 6:45pm. We will return to the starting point between 10:30 to 11pm where we’ll have a little afterparty.

Bring a functioning bike, some blinkie lights (we sell these at the shop), a cell phone, a little bit of cash, and a sense of adventure. We’re going to tour some great places in North East Los Angeles and see a wide breadth and scope of work from hundreds of different artists, from students to well-paid professionals.

The start point (Avenue 32 and N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA) is convenient to the Metro Gold Line’s Heritage Square station (train stops running around midnight), the 81 and 83 buses (run 24 hours and take you downtown), and the 110 Freeway, exit Avenue 43.
